Holly "G" Geoghegan
Our Fearless Leader
For 20 years, Holly "G" as she is known by her golf peers, has continually used her creativity to produce outstanding marketing and public relations programs for her clients. Her enthusiastic and energetic approach moved Golfweek to name her one of the Top 25 "Women in Golf" --- recognizing women who have made a positive impact on the industry.
Holly "G" is an experienced, multi-faceted entrepreneur who understands what it takes to launch and build a new business. It requires working smart and being able to get the biggest bang for every client's buck. Whatever it takes, GMS takes it on. Holly "G" believes in a hands-on, proactive approach where GMS becomes an integral part of the client's team.
No project is too large or too small for GMS. Holly "G" has a network of contacts and relationships to source the best in the business for every client's needs. As a company, we don't carry unnecessary overhead or bill interval time like an attorney. We manage our client's business like our own and provide significant savings and value added benefits from our non-commission billing practices.
Holly "G" has invested in being here, there and everywhere in the golf business arena. She served as a former Director of Communications for the LPGA Tour and has launched numerous start-ups that have developed into market leaders. As a single digit golfer, she understands the game as a competitive amateur and she understands the business, as a consummate professional. As the president of Golf Marketing Services, her client list reads like the Who's Who? of Golf, moving more than one industry leader to attest that she has earned her way into that elite circle by virtue of her success.
Michael Leonard
Communications Wingman
Mike is a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan --- so fanatical that he painted his office black & gold. Prior to drinking the "Golf Kool-aid" and devoting the rest of his life to GMS, Mike spent 21 years in the military, 17 as an Air Force Public Affairs Specialist traveling the globe aboard military and commercial aircraft.
Mike is a DINFOS (Defense Information School) trained killer in basic journalism, editor's and intermediate photojournalism courses. He's an outstanding writer, editor, photographer, webmaster, and graphics wizard. Mike will respond to your needs like a general yelling for his first cup of morning java.
Mike spent two tours overseas learning about great cultures and also got to know and understand the world a little better by spending time in the sands of the Middle East. The military even let him loose in NATO for a couple of years at the end of his military career to terrorize the great Dutch people in Brunssum, The Netherlands. He and his two children now terrorize the links of Central Florida.
"Father" Jack O'Leary
Award Winning Golf Scribe
Jack O'Leary is a veteran sports writer from Boston, MA. For eight years, he covered all major sports for UPI and AP then opted for the relative sanity of daily newspapers where he became the golf writer for the Boston Herald.
After a 13-year run, O'Leary expanded his golf horizon by accepting an Associate Editor's position at Senior Golfer Magazine. Two and a half years later, he ventured to the Sunshine State to create a regional magazine which became Florida Golf Monthly.
O'Leary is a 25 year member of the Golf Writers Association of America. He was the first president and is a 17 year member of the International Network of Golf.
Through the years, Father O'Leary (as he is best known) has expanded his scope of knowledge and experience to include the people, the game and the industry and it has translated into four national golf writing awards. There has been a price paid, however. Once a single-digit handicapper, O'Leary's game now appears only on the sides of milk cartons. If you find it, please send it to him in Lakeland, Florida. He will be most thankful.
Tony Coolidge
Web Guru and Advocate
Tony Coolidge has been a leader in the web development and Internet marketing industries since 1995, providing web services for many clients, including Fortune 500 companies. He has developed expertise in search engine optimization and online social networks.
In 1999, Tony Coolidge applied his web development skills and co-founded an online auction company called iBidUSA.com, Inc., which became publicly-trading in 2001. The company was a radically different B2C application for Internet auctions that provided a new marketing tool for businesses.

Tony is an advocate for indigenous tribes of the world, enjoying the opportunity to speak at the United Nations in 2005 to share about an indigenous festival he organized. Ivy Latham
The Cash Flow Queen
Making a good profit in PR or advertising is no easy task and many agencies and freelancers have gone out of business waiting for late payment from their clients. After 15 years in business, GMS is in the 1% club of successfully owned and operated marketing agencies.
Collecting monthly retainers and expenses is no easy task, but Ivy Latham handles it with diligence and ease. Ivy is professionally persistent and organized when it comes to getting the bills paid promptly so that GMS can keep the lights on and the creative ideas (and beer!) flowing as we often work long hours to get our client's job done.
By all means, watch your expenses carefully, as we do for all our clients. On the other hand, too much haggling over money and excessive report generating can cause Team GMS to put their energy into the documentation process, instead of more effort into your account.
